What should I expect when I arrive?

How should you dress? — Well, that is totally up to you. Casual, comfortable dress is the norm at FaithWalk, but if you feel you must dress up, then by all means you can certainly do that. What is causal, comfortable dress? What would you wear to hang out with friends? Blue jeans, shorts, sandals, t-shirts, casual shirts? — they are all welcomed! In fact, 9 months out of the year you are likely to find our lead pastor preaching in Rainbows.

Parking — Depending on what service you choose to attend will depend on the available parking. If you come to the 9:00AM service, make sure you arrive a bit early so that you can come to the coffee and fellowship time. Also, park on the left side at the building where the main doors are. We currently have adequate parking for everyone.

Welcome! — The vision for FaithWalk begins with creating a "safe space" where everyone could feel comfortable in leaving their worries and concerns at the door and engage God in a very real way. That will be different for all of us, but we believe your experience begins as soon as you walk through the door. At that moment expect to experience a warm and welcoming environment that is becoming authentic Christian community. This is a place where everyone is welcomed — a place where you will not be judged or pressured.

Got Kids? — When you first come in the doors, if you have school age (up to 5th grade) or preschool kids you will want to register them at the Ranger Station for "Tales from the Trails." Additionally, we have nursery care for infants and toddlers up to 2 years old. The Ranger Station is located just slightly to your right as you come in. The person working at the Ranger Station can direct you to our nursery, which is located near our administrative offices.

No Kids? — Then you may want to make your way on over to our coffee house area, just opposite of the main doors. Each morning, prior to the service, there will be someone playing and/or singing and there is plenty of coffee and breakfast snacks to go around! If you don't drink coffee, there are always alternatives available. You are sure to be greeted by other friendly people, who, just like you, may be trying to find a welcoming church. Take time to just relax and enjoy yourself. And yes, you can take your coffee into the worship center. As you enter, make sure you pick up a bulletin. This will have a good bit of current information that will help you learn more about what is currently going on at FaithWalk.

Connect Card & Starbucks? — You will probably be asked by one of our greeters to fill out a "connect card" so that we can get to know you and help you get to know FaithWalk. No worries! This information is not shared and is only intended to help our pastor and hospitality team connect with everyone who makes there way to FaithWalk. We are not going to be knocking your door down or bothering you with anything. We only want to be able to say hello and answer any questions you may have as you learn more about the people and exciting things going on here! And, as a first time guest, you will get something in return! We give all our first time guest a Starbucks gift card so that you can have a cup of coffee on us!

Relax & worship! — Again, at FaithWalk our aim is to create a "safe space" where everyone can engage God in a manner that is comfortable for them. If you want to clap your hands, or raise them in the air, that is cool! If you want to sit and just take it all in, that is cool too! Our music is engaging, and we are likely to play songs that you would hear on K-LOVE (local affiliate is 106.7FM). Our pastor communicates the Gospel in a relevant and sincere manner, coupled with the use of multimedia, video clips, and an occasional skit or two. We believe worship should not only be relevant, with biblically-centered teaching, but that it should also be fun! So relax and worship.

Restrooms — Our restrooms are located in the back corner of our building. You can get there by following the hallway down from our coffee house area, or by exiting the side door (right side facing the stage) of the worship center and following the signs. There are water fountains there for your convenience also. Additionally, we have a unisex single restroom in our administrative area at the opposite end of the hall from the nursery.
